Many types of research show that nearly 40% of protein users face bad-breath problems. The reason for bad breath is a disturbance in your metabolism. When you are consuming excessive protein, our metabolism gets disturbed. This causes the start of the ketosis state of metabolism. Ketosis produces chemicals which cause bad breath.
Dehydration is also a negative effect of excessive protein use. Our body reduces nitrogen along with water and fluids while we intake protein. This results in dehydration even we won’t feel thirsty.
Experts suggest using water regularly while consuming protein diet to keep the level above standard.
